The Laboratory Animal Management Association Foundation is dedicated to supporting educational opportunities that enhance the knowledge and skills of laboratory animal science professionals.
LAMA Foundation Scholarship/
The LAMA Foundation Scholarship fund is used to provide qualified applicants with financial assistance. These funds may be used for tuition to attend accredited universities, colleges or vocational trade schools; AALAS certification courses and exams; CMAR certification courses and exams; continuing education courses for laboratory animal science, medicine or management; professional meetings, workshops, seminars or training programs. Scholarships help defray tuition costs for students attending both Institute for Laboratory Animal Management (ILAM) and non-ILAM programs.
2019 ATA Scholarship Recipients

The Allied Trade Association (ATA) is making available up to three $800 scholarships for LAMA members attending their first LAMA/ATA Annual Meeting, April 9-11 in Clearwater Beach, FL. The scholarships will cover the meeting registration fee ($445) and up to $355 to cover various travel expenses. Selection of the scholarship recipients will be based on merit and a financial need.
Applicants must provide the following information:
■ A completed ATA scholarship application form
■ A letter of recommendation from his/her supervisor
■ Current curriculum vitae or resume
■ A letter of request stating why you would like to attend the LAMA / ATA Annual Meeting. This letter should include the goals and objectives the candidate wishes to achieve, and evidence that without financial support from the ATA, the candidate would not be able to attend.
Deadline for application submission is January 31, 2020. Scholarship selections will be announced in early February.
